Evanston is the rich lakeside suburb just north of Chicago and is home to Northwestern University. I love Evanston so much and some nearby suburbs in
Lake County like Highland Park and Lake Forest. I wandered around Evanston feeling a little nostaligic. The above picture is on the corner of Hinman Avenue and Clark Street.
Good to see back over here, the Arch at Sheridan Road. This is the main entrance to Northwestern.

As some of you know, this is not just any rock; the Rock is a symbol at Northwestern. It is painted in color or messages almost everyday. When I was there, it was in white. I like it better when it is in purple as it is the school color of Northwestern.
Soon after you pass Norris University Center, the beautiful view of the lake appears before your eyes. I think this is more of the lagoon from Lake Michigan. Anyway, look at this stunningly exquisite emerald blue-green water!
