Odyssey in Poland & Fryderyk Chopin
Chicago

"I'M HOME, BACK IN CHICAGO!" said I to the Chicago skyline in the distance from Kennedy Expressway just out of O'Hare. It had been years and years since my youthhood in Chicago. I always feel like I'm home here. My reunion with the Windy City started on such a warm spring day... (March 2005)

BACK TO CHICAGO in mid-May 2006 - it was so very cold and rained a lot. It didn't feel like spring at all; however, I barely saw the sun just for several hours finally. Tulips were all in bloom in many colors. (May 2006)

BACK TO CHICAGO in July, 2008 for the Fourth of July holiday weekend. It was scorching hot! And the US flags were flying everywhere. Enjoyed the fireworks from John Hancock Center... (July 2008)

Sage's 5 Faves in Chicago
1.
John Hancock Center
Although it is the third tallest building in Chicago, to me it always looks like a standing sentinel on guard over downtown Chicago.
2.
Lincoln Park
Truly my very favorite park in Chicagoland.
3.
Millennium Park - Chase Promenade
The newly opened park in July 2004 is filled with public arts and architecture. This is where the Cloud Gate is.

4.
Oz Park
A small neighborhood park but the name says it all.
5.
Evanston
An exquisite northern suburb of Chicago along Lake Michigan.
