Evanston

Right in the middle of campus with a view of University Hall, built in 1869 and the oldest building on campus.

It was a nice weather but a little changeable with some wind. The color of Lake Michigan changes a lot reflected by the weather. Here is the southern end of campus where I saw many sailboats.

Walked along the lakeside and enjoyed a view of downtown Chicago - it could have been even clearer if the weather had cooperated.

At lakefill you will see many joggers and bikers. On this day, I found a man playing the guitar so enthusiastically, too.

As I was walking all around the lakefill, I found a great number of rocks with messages painted by Northwestern students. Some are maxims by famous poets or writers, and others are love quotations.

It is very interesting to read each and every rock in various colors here and there. I saw some of them painted decades ago as dates written on.
