Odyssey in Poland & Fryderyk Chopin
Chicago

Ulica Florianska, the busiest street in the Old Town, had much fewer people walking on the night of Christmas eve, but it was fun with illuminuated angels.   I liked this illuminated angel with a trumpet. It could be seen in every corner of the town.

My hotel was nicely decorated with beautiful Christmas trees all over.   How sweet! As soon as I got back to my hotel room, I noticed someone had provided me with a cake, chocolates, cookies, nuts and an angel ornament on the desk, which warmed my heart. Dziękuję bardzo!

I wanted to eat Żurek which is traditional Polish sour soup with bacon cracklings, onion, cabbage, and rice, etc. It was yummy needless to say.
