"New York Public Library and Bryand Park" - New York, NY
During the two-month business trip this time, I used the New York Public Library to finish up some projects. The New York Public Library actually has several locations in the city of New York, but I think Humanities & Social Sciences Library that I used is a biggest one. It is located at the corner of Fifth Avenue and 42nd Street. When I was working on some projects in the Main Reading Room, tourist groups continually walked in and took various parts of this library, it got hard for me to concentrate on my work from time to time. Indeed, I found this library to be more like a museum. When you wish to have some reading or writing in Manhattan just for a short time, I think it is a nice place. But, I am not sure if you would like to do that with some camera flashes. Anyway, if you are a museum buff, you would like it!
Behind the library was Bryant Park. I liked this small compact park with full of city ambience and cool shops. In sunny days, it would be great to lunch here.
