Prague, a city of thousand years of history.
I started walking from the statue of the Czech Republic's most beloved composer, Bedřich Smetana, near the Charles Bridge, across the Vltava (Moldau) River.

Huge crowds were gathering at the Astronomical Clock Tower in the Old Town Square, awaiting an every-hour show of figures of the 12 Apostles. I got there at around 11:45AM and could get a closer look! At 12:00Noon sharp, the Apostles started show up very slowly. It was simple, but must have been strenuous work when these wooden carvings were created in the medieval age.

From the ground I could see people up at the top of the Clock Tower, so I soon climbed to the observatory. This is the view looking down from the top of the Tower. Another large crowds were already found for 1:00PM show of the Apostles.

Up here I enjoyed the beautiful panoramic view of the Old Town and all the way to Letenske sady and to Petrin Hill.
